Hanging apps after migration

I migrated from umbrel yesterday, and it's thrown a couple apps for a loop -- BTCPay and Samourai are still stuck "Starting". Tried the Update button, tried uninstalling/reinstalling, they're not going for it. Is there some sort of force-refresh I can run on the command line, or how do I get my stuff running again?

I am not an expert, but I have been able to fix many problems with the following way:

establish a connection via SSH. Use Putty (Windows) or Terminal (Mac).
type: ssh citadel@192.168... (IP address of your node), alternatively: ssh citadel@citadel (doesn't work for me)
type your password and if it doesn't take it then use: freedom
type the following command:
sudo docker stop $(docker ps -q) && sudo docker rm $(docker ps -aq) && sudo docker volume prune --force && sudo rm ~/citadel/tor/torrc* && sudo ~/citadel/scripts/configure && sudo ~/citadel/scripts/start
and then this:
sudo rm -rf ~/citadel/statuses/update-in-progress && sudo ~/citadel/scripts/update/update --repo runcitadel/core#main
reboot your node with:  sudo reboot

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works.

Is this correct? Anyone can confirm if this procedure is safe and if it will correct the problem?
Seems like it would make it go back to a version before 0.0.1
